Hannah ★★★★★

I was a little skeptical about a date cake, but this one is incredibly moist and the toffee sauce really makes it. The 8-inch size was perfect for our small gathering and lasted a few days.

Hazel ★★★★★

The little jar of toffee sauce is what seals the deal—warm it up, pour it over the date cake, and it’s pure comfort on a plate. I bought the 8" for a dinner party and there wasn’t a crumb left.

Leo ★★★★★

The jar of toffee sauce is the real star—I poured half of it over the cake while it was still warm from the oven and it soaked right in. The date cake itself is dense and moist, not overly sweet, so the pairing works perfectly. This 8" size fed six of us easily, and there were no leftovers to argue
